GAME WIZARDS SHOOT FOR THE STARS WITH “STARFALL”

The Art Institute of California –Los Angeles Video Game Production Team Honored by Industry Professionals 

Santa Monica, CA – June 19th 2009 – The idea of Starfall started with Game Designer Joey Thompson space strategy game that he designed in his Game Design & Gameplay class in Fall 2007.  He was brought into Game Wizards for his game design expertise and helped out on the titles “Boiler Plate” and “Killing Time”. 

For the next round of projects he pitched his concept for Starfall with the intention of bringing single player game play back to Game Wizards.  “ Most of our game have been multi-player death match or had limited game play, “ said Joey,” I wanted us to create a more in depth single player experience”.

The concept of Satrfall is Romans versus Barbarians in space.  You play as a Roman soldier defending your cities against the Barbarian hordes. 

Starfall incorporates many types of gameplay types and features including: in game cinematics, standard 3rd person shooter, action adventure puzzle solving, vehicle combat, culminating in one of the most ambitious boss fights ever in a Game Wizards title.
