Santa Monica, CA – March 18th 2007 – “Lytus” is a single player game based on a core story that has multiple objectives and puzzles that will lead to a ultimate power. Think Legend of Zelda meets Final fantasy. With Crytek's advanced AI system, the team was able to place AI in places that have the player using strategic maneuvers to stay alive.
Lytus is a title that has been indevelopment for some time. The game requires a lot of lush enviroments and water effects which have always been a challenge for us. “When the opportunity came along to use the Crysis engine from Crytek,” said Eric T Elder, Game Wizards Executive Producer, “ we saw this as a huge opportunity for us to have lush outdoor enviroments like we have never been able to produce.”
The engine also provided unique opportunities in the area of single player abilities and attributes. “ The unique abilities we created are pyrokenetics, freezing, wind power, telekenesis and even summoning meteors”,says Project Lead Nick Garcia,’’ these are things you’ve never been able to do in a Wizards title before”.
With the new breakthroughs in gameplay and graphics “Lytus” stands to be a great edition to the library of titles from the Game Wizards team.
